Epilogue: On July 5, 2002 the Boat that had No Name was sold to a very nice family in Friendswood, Texas where it will begin its second life. A family with four active children, the boat will be used. I hope it gives them as much enjoyment as it did me for years to come.
17 1/2' 1978 Marquis with 120 hp. Mercruiser Inboard-Outboard, trailer and all accessories. Stainless steel prop. This boat was stored in a boat stall at Lake Livingston since the day I purchased it new until 1999 when it was moved to Lake Somerville. One owner, me. Originally sold by Hodges Boats and Motors in Houston. The trailer got new tires in 1995. Less than 1,500 total miles on the trailer. The boat and trailer were completely serviced in 1995 in anticipation of a trip that didn't happen.

Comes with top and full curtains - just in case you get caught in the rain or want to leave it in the water overnight and aren't sure what the weather might be. The deep-V hull is ideal for the waves that can develop if the wind changes on our Texas lakes.
Unfortunately, this boat has not been used a whole lot in the last ten years. There have been some years when it was only run once. As you may have noticed, we've adopted a new way to spend our weekends. I hate to sell this boat, I've had a lot of good times on it. But, situations change and this is one of them.
We've cleaned it since these
pictures (inside and out). And, I'm keeping the fishing stuff. You get life
jackets, skis (good learner set) ropes, anchor and anything else I've got.

And, here it is.....The End
