We started at Lake Somerville (Overlook Park).  Our second stop was Oak Thicket Park on Lake Fayette and then to Poppy's Point Resort on the shores of Lake Buchanan in the Texas Hill Country.

.First - the fish.  17" long.  I am not sure what it weighed.  I'm guessing 5+ lbs.  Released back into the lake.

Carolyn caught some too.  This bass was caught on Lake Somerville while we were using the trolling motor to return to the marina after the main battery got run down too far to start the boat.
