The pictures below show us deep watering the trees. They are being watered with a 38" piece of 0.5" PVC connected to a hose. Between the hose and the PVC is an inline valve used to carefully regulate the amount of water. Most of the water comes back up the hole. The pipe is about 18" into the ground.
